The major triads can be formed by taking the Do, Mi, and Sol from the major scales that we learned in I.5. This video introduces the major triads as shapes on the keyboard.
Memorize these well because we will be manipulating them later this semester into all kinds of other chords. (Remember that there are only 12 of them and this video will help you to group them in your mind according to their shape on the keyboard.)
